Urch, Elmer - Peacefully, at the Belleville General Hospital, after a brief illness, Elmer Edward Urch, on June 23rd, 2007 at age 95. Eldest son of the late Herbert and Alma (Reid) Urch. Beloved husband for 66 years of the late Luella Chambers. Dear father of daughter Beverley and her husband Stan Reid of Plainfield, and son Steve and his wife Janet of R.R. 2 Baltimore. Cherished grandfather of Allyson and Michelle Reid, Toronto. Predeceased by brothers Cecil, Floyd and Lorne, and sisters Gladys Batchelor and Bernice Phillips. Ever remembered by sisters Alice Emerson, Olive Long and by his many nieces and nephews. Family and friends may call at the John R. Bush Funeral Home, 80 Highland Avenue, Belleville (613-968-5588) on Monday June 25th, 2007 from 9:00 a.m. To 11:00 a.m. with the funeral service following in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. Reverend Cathy Paul officiating. A private interment will take place at a later date. If desired, Elmer has requested donations of sympathy be made to the Alzheimer Society to honour Luella.
