Clementine Yvonne  Aalbers (Dijkhuizen)
CLEMENTINE YVONNE AALBERS (nee van Dijkhuizen), born Rotterdam 8 October 1924, beloved wife of Gerrit J Aalbers, passed away peacefully 21 August 2012 after a long and courageous battle with cancer at home in Brighton. She is survived by her husband of 64 years and her four sons Arno, Jac, Herman and Marc as well as nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Always ready to help out with Brighton Probus and past president of Oakville Optimist Club she committed her life to helping others. The family would like to thank the Para-med caregivers, Eva, Kathleen, Brenda and Amanda with helping Clementine on her final journey. A special thanks to Gerrit Jr and Lyndsey for all their help. Without your assistance and caring attitudes during the final months her journey would have been much more difficult. Rest in peace after a life well lived. The family will receive friends at the Walas Funeral Home, 130 Main Street, Brighton on Saturday, September 1st, 2012 from 10 o’clock. A Memorial Service will follow in the funeral home at 11 o’clock. Cremation with interment Mount Hope Cemetery.
