Condolences

Condolence From: Curt McLean
Condolence: Jim and Brenda please accept a late condolence from me and my family. I have the fondest memories of playing ball for Doug. Never realized how much fun we had in those days and Doug was such a huge part of that. So many good guys are leaving way too early. I hope he gets together with Bake and the Keech brothers to organize a tourney or two wherever they are. God bless him.

Condolence: Dear Brenda, Jim and families. We were so very sorry to hear of the sudden passing of Doug. He was a one of a kind person! I was fortunate to spend four terms on Quinte West Council with him. He was a team player, always working hard with the best interest of the City in mind. His quiet, gentle way will be missed around the Council Table and throughout the whole City. We had great respect for the way he dealt with all his health problems, and how he remained so cheery and upbeat through it all. Rest in Peace Dear Friend, we will miss you.

Growing up in Trenton, everyone knew Doug, my memories go back right to Trenton High, the good old days, his sense of humour, his kindness and most of all, Doug was always a "True Gentleman". The Whitneys have always been a great family and we along with Trenton will be there to support them thru this sad and difficult time.
