SCRIMSHAW, Barbara Joy - of Belleville, passed away at R.R. 4 Marmora, on Thursday January 28th, 2016 in her 88th year. Daughter of the late Warner and Madeline (Ward) Brown. Beloved wife of the late William “Finley” Scrimshaw. Dear mother of Bonnie Joy Briscoe (Gerry) of Renfrew, and Lee Ward Scrimshaw (Anne) of R.R.4 Marmora. Predeceased by her son Wayne Finley Scrimshaw (Shelly). Dear sister of Benson Brown (Betty) of Belleville, and Larry Brown (Bonnie) of Oshawa. Loved by her grandchildren Cory, Cindy, Jason, Adam, Ken, Richard, Crystal, and by her great grandchildren Taylor, Kailey, Finley, Darcy, Angelica, Marianna, Natalie, Sky, Bailey, Samantha, Aribella and Savannah. Family and friends are invited to a visitation at the Belleville Funeral Home and Chapel, 68 North Front Street, Belleville (613-968-5080) on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A service will be held in the chapel on Monday February 1st, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at the Belleville Cemetery.
