BATEMAN, Donald Elwood

Formerly of Tweed, passed away peacefully at the EJ McQuigge Lodge Nursing Home on Monday, April 18th, 2016 in his 96th year. Son of the late Ernest & Florence Bateman. Beloved husband of the late Irene (Ketcheson) Bateman. Brother of the late Wilbur (late Ethel), Scott (Doris) of Napanee, Margaret Ketcheson (late Laurison) of Belleville, Ray (Darlene) of Mississauga and Doris (Warren) Stubbington of Mississauga. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Following cremation, Memorial Services will be held at BELLEVILLE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL LTD. 68 N. Front St. Belleville (613-968-5080) on Saturday, April 30th, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. (with visitation one hour prior from 10-11a.m.). Reception to follow. Don will then be laid to rest with his late wife Irene at the Zion Hill Cemetery. If desired, donations to the Parkinson Foundation, Trinity United Church Roslin or Quinte Hospice would be appreciated.
