NESBITT, Joan Passed away peacefully after a hard fought battle with many illnesses at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Saturday, December 3rd, 2016, at the age of 83. Loving daughter of the late Victor and Retta Scott. Beloved wife of Laurie Nesbitt for 57 years. Loving mother of Beth Phillips (Bob), Scott Sheppard (Late Connie), and Kim Fry (Chris). Loving grandma of Kathrine, Ryan, Autumn, Paula, Blair, Adam, Nicole, and 11 great-grandchildren. Survived by her sister Nancy Brunton (Jack). Predeceased by her sister Lorraine and brother George. Also remembered by her many nieces, nephews, close friends, and caregivers. In keeping with Joan’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Campbellford Memorial Hospital Foundation or the Peterborough Regional Health Centre Foundation would be appreciated.
