Rushnell Family Services

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Joan Nesbitt can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Donna McGee
Condolence: Sincere condolences to Laurie, Beth, Scott, Kim and Families. Fond memories don't even begin to say all that can be said of Joan. The door was always "open" to all who came to visit, or even stay awhile. Good times at the cottage were shared by many, where again, all were welcome and treated like royalty. Some of my best childhood memories are of back at the cottage. Our neighbourhood was one in a million, where we were all like family. Joan was a Mom to all, and a very good cook as well. Her pineapple whip was one of my favourites! She will be dearly missed by all who knew her, but her memory will always live in our hearts.
