Margaret Mary Jeannette (Janet) Young (Langabeer)
Young, Margaret Mary Jeanette (Janet): Passed away peacefully with family by her side, at Trenton Memorial Hospital February 16, 2017.

Born on August 23, 1942 in Belleville to Clarence and Mary (nee McCormick) Langabeer (both deceased). Janet grew up in a large family with siblings Bob (Dorothy), Brian (Mary), Linda (Simon), Diane (Sandy), Alan, Wayne and Kevin (both deceased). Janet was loved by sisters-in- law Julia, Jane, Barbara and Beckie. Janet will be remembered by her dear friends Joyce and Bill Brady, Geraldine Fobert, Arlene Dean, Joyce Arnott, Paula Scerri, Bev and Lloyd Buxton and many more.

Janet cherished many wonderful summers at the cottage on Stoco Lake and in recent years at the trailer on West Lake near Picton. Janet, Joyce and Gerry loved their many visits to the Shrines both in Canada and the United States, as Janet treasured her Catholic faith. Janet worked for over thirty years at Ontario Hydro and after retirement she enjoyed many travel adventures. Family and friends have beautiful memories of Janet's many summer and Christmas parties. In her younger years Janet was an avid knitter and took up painting later in life. Janet leaves her sweet cat Hyder who kept her company during her years of illness.

Many will remember Janet as an avid Belleville Bulls fan as she was a long time season ticket holder, billet and Booster Club supporter. She also loved her time spent volunteering with Community Policing.

Janet adored her nieces and nephews Patrick (Paula), Lesley, Bobbi-Jo, Laura (Joel), Kelly (Kevin), Scott (Marylou), Matthew (deceased), Michael (Cassie), Aaron (Cindi), Katherine (Craig), Maureen, David and Nicole (Ryan). She was loved by many great nieces and nephews.

Janet spent many years suffering. Heartfelt thanks to the multiple caregivers over the years that kindly supported her, especially Judy and Brandi.
