Passed away peacefully at the Belleville General Hospital on Thursday, March 23rd, 2017. John Kayaras, of Belleville in his 83rd year. Son of the late Nicholas & Koula Kayaras of Nemea, Greece. Loving husband of 50 years to Lois (nee Burns). John will be fondly remembered by his daughter Sunday Kayaras (Ely Sbrozzi) of Toronto, as well as his son Robert (Bob) Richardson (Lucy) of Bancroft, and daughters Margaret Merkley (Ken) of Kingston, Janet Cairns (Alexander) of Harcourt, also his 8 grandchildren, his brother Dennis Kayaras (Joanne) and his sister Maria Fortis (late Hercules) of Greece, as well as many nieces & nephews. Predeceased by his sister Evangeline “Eva” Georgiou (late Emmanuel). A private family service was held at the Belleville Cemetery.
