GATES, Wilfred William Richard “Fred” peacefully at the Bridge Hospice, Warkworth on Wednesday, May 3, 2017, age 70 years. Fred Gates of Campbellford, son of the late Wilfred J.N. Gates and the late Margaret Olive (Taylor). Beloved spouse of Petra Anderson of Campbellford. Father of Eric Gates of Whitby, Ontario. Brother of Joanne, Charles, Brian and Margo. Beloved son-in-law of Elke and John Knoche, brother-in-law of Roland (Andrea). Sadly missed by his many nieces and nepehews. Predecesed by his brother Robert Gates. Cremation with a Private Family Graveside Service, Mount Hope Cemetery, Brighton. As an expression of sympathy, donations to The Bridge Hospice, Warkworth, would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements in care of the Brighton Funeral Home (613 475-2121).
