Obituary for James Edward Lummiss

LUMMISS, James (Jim) Edward - peacefully at Belleville General Hospital on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at the age of 72. Jim is survived by his loving wife Teresa Lummiss who has also been his fishing buddy for the last 25 years. Much loved brother to Charlie Lummiss his wife Penny, uncle to their daughter Lindsay (Peter) and Wynter. Great friend and cousin to Rob Bonter (Diane). Jim will be sadly missed by Teresa's children, Mark Malone (Juanita), Josie Brooks, Wendy Frost (Mike) and Robin Zelle (James). Special grampa Jim to many grandchildren; he always taught them that a handshake means just as much as a hug, to work hard and be proud. He will be missed by his many friends at Proctor and Gamble and the hunting camps. Jim loved the outdoors, grew up fishing and hunting his whole life, along with his father and grandfather. His favorite saying was "NO WOODEN NICKLES". Resting at the FRANKFORD FUNERAL CHAPEL, 40 North Trent Street, Frankford, on Friday, May 12th, 2017 from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Memorial Service to follow in the Chapel at 2:30 p.m. If desired, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or the Belleville General Hospital Auxiliary.
