England, Harold – It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our Dad Harold England on Saturday, May 13th, 2017, in his 94th year. Son of Reginald and Olive England. Predeceased by loving partner Betty England (McDonnell). Father to Deborah England of Toronto, David England (Lynn) of Calgary, Patsy England of Kitchener and Helen England of Ottawa. Brother to Marian, and predeceased by siblings Evelyn, Reg, and Gerry. Loving grandfather to Steve, Robbie and Sarah, missed by his nieces Susan Eastley and Ann Foss and their families in Devon,England and nieces and nephews in Ontario and BC.
Harold will be forever missed by friends in Belleville and Skootamatta Lake. Harold was a proud member of the Masonic Lodge / Moira Lodge #11, WW11 Veteran, Cameron highlanders of Ottawa, Kiwanis Club, Saganaska Club, Probus Club, Meals on Wheels, and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 99. A Visitation will be held at the BELLEVILLE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL LTD, 68 North Front St. Belleville (613-968-5080) on Thursday, May 18th 2017 from 7:00 – 9:00pm. Funeral services will be held in the chapel on Friday, May 19th at 2:00pm with visiting starting at 1:00pm. The Interment at Belleville Cemetery will take place on a later date. Reverend Michael Rice officiating. if desired, donations to the Lung Association and Quinte Hospice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
