WEST, MIRIAM DORIS
It is with heavy hearts but grateful appreciation for a life well lived that her family announce the peaceful passing of Miriam Doris West (Miller) on Friday, May 19th, 2017 at the Belleville General Hospital at age 97. Miriam was the daughter of the late William Miller and Emma (nee Godding) and wife of the late Clarence E. West. Beloved mother of Sandra Brett (John Brewster) of Oak Lake, William "Bill" (Ruthe Anne) of Belleville, Susan Parkin (John) of Tottenham and Robert "Bob" (Diana) of Barry's Bay. Predeceased by her son Richard "Dick". Caring and much loved mother-in-law of Karen West of Stirling. Lovingly remembered by her 16 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her 3 brothers and 2 sisters and survived by her dear sisters-in-law Evelyn Duffin and Marabelle Clare (Bill). Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews as well as the entire West clan.
Mrs. West is resting at the Stirling Funeral Chapel, 87 James Street, Stirling. Friends may visit with family on Wednesday, May 24th, 2017 from 12 noon till 1:30 pm. with A Celebration of Life in the Chapel at 1:30 pm. Interment will follow in the family plot at Stirling Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the Christian Blind Mission International or the Heart of Hastings Hospice would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences at: www.rushnellfamilyservices.com
