Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Murray Thomlison can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for Murray Lewis Thomlison

THOMLISON, Murray Lewis – entered into rest at the Trenton Memorial Hospital surrounded by family on Saturday June 24th, 2017. Murray Thomlison of Trenton in his 86th year. Beloved husband of the late June (Whaley) Thomlison. Loving father of Kim Thomlison (Wally Machell) of Trenton, Wayne (Denise) Ormshaw of Kelowna, BC and the late Rick Ormshaw. Survived by siblings Sally Thomlison of Tweed, Eunice Thomlison of Belleville and Lyn (Anne) Thomlison of Deseronto. Ever remembered grandfather of Wendy, Christie, Kevin, Tanya, Michael, Rick, Lindsay and the late Shawn; and great-grandfather of many. Murray was a valued long time co-worker/friend of the Rushnell family. The family will receive friends at the RUSHNELL FUNERAL CENTRE, 60 Division Street, Trenton on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Service will be held at the Trenton Wesleyan Church, 274 2nd Dug Hill Road, Trenton on Friday, June 30th, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Reverend Brian Carswell officiating. Interment Mount Evergreen Cemetery. If desired, Memorial Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
