The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Florence McQuillan can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Ruth Andrews
Condolence: Edmund and family:
We want to convey our sincere condolence on the passing of Florence. It was such a shock to hear of her passing as we called to let you know that mom passed away a day and a half later.

Along with our families living across the road from each other, Florence and our mother Olive Andrews worked together for a number of years at Cooper's Nursing Home while you lived in Mount Albert. We have many good memories.

We are sorry we will not be able to attend the funeral, but are sending our thoughts and prayers to you, Lorraine, Mark and Karl.

Condolence: We were all so very sorry to hear of the death of our cousin Florence. We have such wonderful memories of holidays with her in Ireland, Wales and Canada. She opened her home and her heart to us, was a wonderful cook and was so kind to my mum who loved her to bits. She was such a part of our family for many years and, although we hadn't seen her for some time, she was always a constant presence in our lives. We shall miss her but know she has joined her Auntie Ellen in heaven.

Condolence: Florence you are gone, but will not be forgotten. You will be sorely missed. From being a good friend, fantastic neighbour, fellow walker in Presqu'ile, a knitter extrardinaire, and a wonderful lady our grand kids are proud to call Gramma Flo. Rest in the peace.
Our heart felt condolences and sympathies to Edmund, Lorraine, Mark and Karl and families.

I would like to extend my deepest condolences to Edmund and the family circle. Thinking of you all at this very sad time. Love, Lillian xx

Condolence: Sympathies on the loss of Florence. We knew her as a fellow walker at Presqu'ile Park. In later years, we always stopped to chat with her as she enjoyed an outing in Alice's car. We're sure she will be sorely missed.
