LOUIS, Gustaaf Pieter “Paul” – It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of Gustaaf Louis on Monday, October 2nd, 2017, in his 86th year surrounded by family at the Belleville General Hospital. Son of the Late Pieter Louis and the Late Anna HeilJeBeyl. Beloved husband to Elisabeth Van der Linden for 60 years. Loving father to Teresa Louis-Thrower (Roy), Irene Van Rompaey (Jean), and Pieter Louis (Shona). Predeceased by brother Hugo Louis. Loving grandfather to Adrian, Kristine, Kiera, Morgan, and Alexander. Gustaaf was a proud member and employee for Northern Telecom for 32 years. In keeping with Gustaaf’s wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of life for Gustaaf will take place on Saturday, October 28 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the reception centre at the JOHN R. BUSH FUNERAL HOME, 80 Highland Ave., Belleville (613-968-5588). If desired, donations to the Batawa Seniors Club would be greatly appreciated by the family.
