Condolence From: Danette Frasz
Condolence: I was very lucky to know Francis when I was living in Trenton. Francis and I went on many hikes in the summer and did cross-country skiing in the winter. He always had great energy and was always calm and friendly. Because of him, I was able to see more places than I would have on my own. After out skiing and hiking jaunts, a trip to Tim Hortons was in order. We would sit at a table that allowed one to see (and critique) various makes and models of automotive products. He more listened patiently as I rambled about fake wood paneling and pitied very tall drivers in very small cars. In addition to his great patience, he always had common sense. At the 2003 air show, in Trenton, he suggested we get sunscreen. I didn't see the need. He was in a shirt and long pants. I was in uniform. Yep! Our forearms were burned. I needed a lot of garlic butter when I had to eat crow. I was lucky to be able to go and do many things with him. We went to the Brighton Speedway a number of times. Francis was always helping everyone with yard work, shovelling snow and what was needed to be done at the time. My thoughts and prayers are with Francis' family and friends and the people of Frankford as well. Francis was truly a bright light in this world. God bless you my friend. It was an honour and a privilege to be a part of your life. You will be missed, and if I do right, I'll be able to see you again someday.

Condolence From: Norma Akey
Condolence: When Laurie became part of the Akey Clan, Frankie did too. Bob became a brother and he followed him wherever. I'd argue with him about his choice of NASCAR Driver. Whenever something needed carried, moved, Frankie was there. He'd shovel snow for hours. He adored his niece and nephews, but I'm sure he got annoyed at their pranks, but never complained. Every Xmas when I gave him the gift certificates I'd tell him he could eat my gift, and he'd laugh and laugh. Frankie just loved life and people and the simple things that life offered him. He will be missed by all of us. Rest in peace, Frankie.

Condolence From: Mary & Bill Coakley
Condolence: It is with great sadness that we say goodby to our friend, Frances: We will always remember the laughter of a young man who enjoyed camping with us at Westcott State Park; fishing, cycling (you would see him on his bicycle miles from home, in unexpected places); going to the races, and the sale barn with Gerard Hoftyzer and my my husband Bill on Tuesdays, Just this past Tuesday Bill came home laughing at a joke they shared; He was very interested in the workings of the community and always knew the latest upgrades. He was always willing to lend a helping hand with a ready smile....Frances; such an innocent soul, you will never know how much you left behind in the hearts of those who knew you, all your extended family:...You live on in our hearts: With condolences to your family: Bill & Mary Coakley.

Condolence From: John and Jennifer of Scott Avenue
Condolence: So Francis, sadly your time on this planet was abruptly cut short my friend. The tenth was the last time we spoke; about all of that thanksgiving turkey we so eagerly consumed. You replied in your usual soft-spoken way, "Yup! A lot, thank you and bye bye." We didn't know; at the time, the finiteness of those tiny but poignant utterances. You will not be forgotten. Fond regards to the family. John and Jennifer.  

Condolence: Francis was always a gentle and kind person. His quiet ways and that gentle spirit and smile were a large part of what make up Frankford's community and heritage. We have known him since the seventies when he played t-ball with our son. We also remember him when I used to teach the CYC mid week group at church. Laurie and family, please accept our heartfelt condolences. Our hearts and prayers are with you all during this time of loss. Dennis and Judy Crowe.

Condolence From: Wanda McCumber
Condolence: I shall never forget Francis. He was part of our *Oasis* breakfast family on Tuesday mornings (for me) when I stopped with my school bus to meet up with the ladies for breakfast. Francis would ride in on his bike & place his order & we started chatting-usually about where he had traveled on his bike & how the bus route was that day. I remember him telling me about his upcoming trip to Nascar-how he did enjoy that adventure. I would mention how my *Habs* would beat the Toronto Maple Leafs and he would smile & say, you like the Habs? My deepest condolences to the family. You will not be forgotten Francis-may you enjoy that great race in the sky-RIP my friend.
