Rushnell Family Services

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Glen Brown can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

The Dance (Glen & Janice style)

Glen and Audrey were two of the first  and finest people I met when I moved to Belleville in 1969.  We were connected through the Toronto Star. We travelled together, we would go to Toronto on a whim for a steak, or the other direction to Alexandria Bay just because we could.(on a Sunday afternoon). We became fast friends and attended lots of fun activities but we all loved to dance.  One time, Glen decided to go flat down on the floor while dancing and right back up and directed me to follow.  Of course,... I did.  It wasn't long until we had an audience and so that of course, encouraged us. This became the new dance of the decade.  It was just expected that wherever Glen and I were we would do "The Dance". It became a fad that many attempted to follow, but just couldn't cut it. So Glen until we meet again, "The Dance" has ceased.
