WHYTE, Margaret Madelyn (nee Coughlin) – August 27. 1918 – October 22, 2017 – Passed away peacefully at the Trenton Memorial Hospital in her 100th year. Beloved wife of the late Lawrence Vincent Whyte, loving mother of Bonné (late Lorne) Bassett of Trenton, Corley (Gerry) Hughes of Okotoks, Alberta and Bruce of Toronto. Cherished grandmother of Chris Bassett, Vicki (Steve) van der Veer, Kathy (Paul) Davis, Lisa (David) Corkill, Tricia Kennedy, Jayson (Brandi) Hughes, Greg (Angie) Bassett and Marnie (Guy) MacKay. Fondly remembered by great grandchildren Stephanie, Jennifer, Cole, Benjamin, Owen, Joshua MacKay, Hannah, Aleesha, James, Jake, Nathan, Joshua Davis, Kayla, Shelby, Justin, Jessica, Bayly, Cienna and great-great grandchildren Alexis and Sabastian. Visitation will be held at the RUSHNELL FUNERAL CENTRE, 60 Division St., Trenton (613-392-2111) on Friday, from 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Trenton, on Saturday, October 28th, 2017 at 11a.m. Father Francis Zambon officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made to the Quinte Access Transportation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
