Doug make our pre- arrangements a few years ago and worked on the art work for our stone. It seems he enjoyed doing that art work and it was a pleasure to meet him and I offer my condolences to his family.

On behalf of all parishioners of St Francis of Assisi, Frankford, St. James the Minor, Stirling Rawdon, and Sacred Heart of Jesus, Batawa, I extend our sincerest condolences to the family and friends of Mr. R. Douglas Rushnell.
By his kindness, care and outreach to the community at large, we were all nourished and sustained, especially in moments of heartache and deepest grief.
May the Lord now crown his life’s work with a laurel of everlasting joy and happiness.

My condolences to the Rushnell family. I had the privilege of knowing Doug for over 35 years, and I always had a smile and a warm heart after everyone of my visits with him.

I just learned of Doug's passing and I am unable to make the visitation or funeral service but want to pass along my sympathy to Doug's family.
Doug was always a pleasure to talk to at any of the funeral conventions/seminars that we would both be in attendance and shared many a storey from the old days that both he and my father Robert Wartman had shared together.
