Laing, Donald Joseph – It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Donald Laing on Friday, December 29th, 2017, in his 78th year. Son of the late Wesley and Beatrice Laing. Predeceased by loving wife Chris Laing. Father to Debbie Thomas (Dwight), Mike Laing (Carol), Chuck Laing (Wendy) and Cory Laing. Survived by siblings Alta Vance (John), Bev Baldwin (Doug), Betty Martin (Dean) and Bob Laing (Judy). Predeceased by brother Skip Laing. Don was a proud grandfather to Hilary and Sam, great grandfather to Garrett. Don was retired from Trans Canada Pipeline after 40 years. Don will be greatly missed by his many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and his many friends. A Celebration of life will be held at the JOHN R. BUSH FUNERAL HOME, 80 Highland Ave., Belleville (613-968-5588) on Wednesday, January 3rd, 2018 from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm, followed by a Funeral service in the chapel at 2:00 pm.
