Obituary for Maud Horwood

HORWOOD, Maud (Nee: Grant) – It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of Maud Horwood on Saturday, January 6th, 2018, in her 88th year at the Lennox & Addington County General Hospital surrounded by family. Predeceased by parents John Grant and Elizabeth Grant (Nee: Gardiner). Predeceased by loving husband Graham Horwood. Loving mother to Donna Horwood, Joanne Griffin, David Horwood (Debbie), and Paul Horwood (Wendy). Maud has been predeceased by her twelve sisters and her eight brothers. Grandmother to Tammy, Kenny (Krista), Melanie (Nathan), Mark (Jennifer), Ashley, Tiffany, Jeremy (Lesley), and Laura (Jake). Great Grandmother of twelve. Maud will be greatly missed by brother in-laws Jim, Jack and sister in-law Paula. The family wishes to express a big thank you to the team and staff at the Riverine Retirement Residence whom have looked after Maud. Friends may call at the JOHN R. BUSH FUNERAL HOME, 80 Highland Ave., Belleville (613-968-5588) on Wednesday, January 10th, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the chapel Wednesday, January 10th, 2018 at 12:00 pm. Interment at Belleville Cemetery. Luncheon to follow interment back at the funeral home. Rev. Elaine Kellogg Officiating.
