Condolence: My dearest Marilyn ,when I met you 15 years ago little did I know how much my life would change . You took me in as a boarder even though you did not take women in ,you gave me a chance and that was the start of an amazing friendship.I grew to think of you not as a friend but as a mother figure. You are and always will be a very special person to me. I still cannot believe you are gone .I have so many memories of you and I that I can keep in my heart and chuckle about our shopping trips together. Before I even met you son Mike I felt like I knew him for a long time .I felt sort of like a big sister and that was nice as I have no siblings of my own. You will be missed by so many people but you will never be forgotten as you have touched so many people in your lifetime . Love you always and forever Beverly

You had a gift to gab but I loved you for it. Love you forever auntie. Rest in Peace

Condolence: 57 years ago you had your first operation trying to give birth to this gigantic body, (sorry mom). You held my hand as a child and taught me how to be a man. Oh I made mistakes along the way, but you were always there to put me back on track. To this day when I open a door for someone else, stand up and give my bus seat to an elder or move to the edge of the road to allow a couple to pass, I think of you. You taught me right from wrong, allowed me to make mistakes and put me back on track when I strayed too far. On rainy days we talked for hours and as I grow old I realize that you were my best friend.
When your grandchildren entered your life I could tell how much you loved me by the expression on your face when you held them in your arms. Your love was unconditional considering your own childhood, (growing up in an institution), was nothing short of amazing.
I would move away from you thus robbing you of an opportunity to show the girls the love you showed me, but rest assured, I took those lessons and tried to improve on the standard you set.
Messed up on that a few times mom, but not because of you, but I did my best.
I would always return to Trenton to see you and our relationship would only strengthen.
Today I would hold your hand after you took your last breath and had the opportunity to say goodbye. It is the circle of life.
You may be gone, but you touched more lives than even you know.
You have not truly left this world mom because a part of you is with everyone you ever met.

Love you mom

Mike

Condolence: Mama, I'm really not sure what to say. I still can't believe you're gone. For most of my life, you seemed invincible. With everything life threw at you, you always came out on top. I'm going to miss you so much, but I am so happy that I was able to see you one last time. As much as I will miss you, I am happy to know that you're at peace. I love you so much!
