The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Lois McKnight can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolences

Condolence From: Victor and Shirley Hamilton
Condolence: Dear Joelle, Glenn, Esther and Karen:

Even though it has been many, many years since we have seen your Mother or any of you, we have a number of fond memories of her. Those memories stem from the times we were together at camp meeting at Silver lake, and from the time she came down to Kentucky to visit us in the late 70s. For some reason we will remember a joke she told us once at Silver Lake. She told about a woman who worked in a factory that made jeans for women. However, when asked where she worked she replied, "In a diesel factory." When asked to explain she would say that after finishing the jeans she would say to herself, "Diesel fit her."

Your Mother was a true woman of God who has left a lasting spiritual legacy both to the four of you and to countless others, including ourselves. Her faithful service to our Lord over many years is an inspiration to all of us. You were blessed to have such a godly Mother.

You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

Blessings,

Vic and Shirley Hamilton

Condolence: May you be comforted with the knowledge that your MOM, Grandma was a women after God's own heart.
She was one of my sources of encouragement when pursuing formal ministry and ordination. Her prayers were well appreciated. I will always remember her for her gentle spirit and warm smile.
May God's Richest Blessings be yours today and always.

Condolence: Many thanks to Judy Crowe who delivered kisses and hugs between my sister and I. Judy attended the same church that Lois did when she was in Canada , then brought greetings to me here in Florida. And likewise from me to her. Thanks Judy for looking after my little sister when I couldn't be there.

Condolence From: Peter and Cyndi Rigby
Condolence: Dear Joelle, Glen, Esther, Karen,

Cyndi and I have appreciated the opportunity to get to know your mother and your family. Our first introduction, as a new pastoral couple, was we were invited to your parents home in Brockville. After that I was privileged to serve on the missions committee and to see first-hand your mother's deep commitment to missions. She was an inspiration! I was saddened when health prevented her on-going involvement.

Our love and prayers to you all as you mourn her loss and yet celebrate her legacy,
Peter Rigby
