BEDARD, Stephen John – quietly at home in Trenton, Ontario on Thursday, February 15th, 2018 in his 66th year. Son of the late George and Helen (Richardson) Bedard. Greatly missed by his daughters Julie (Richard) Cole of Belleville and Joleen (Brent) Rupert of Trenton; and his grandchildren Jussie and Wade. Lovingly remembered by his siblings Yvonne (the late Lyn) Harrington, Fred Bedard (Lynne Connor), Christine DeMille (the late Jim Leaver), Paul (Shelley) Bedard and the late Marie (surviving Steve) Foster of Foxboro. Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and good friends Doug Cundall, Chris Lamer and Rod, Lucy and his friends at Nelson's Campground. Special thanks to Dr. Kirk Haunts of Cobourg. Steve will be missed by the many friends he made over the thirty-five years umpiring with Belleville & District Umpires Association, Belleville Renegades, Softball Ontario and ISC Men's Softball. Resting at the FRANKFORD FUNERAL CHAPEL, 40 North Trent Street, Frankford (613-398-6400) on Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. A Celebration of Steve's Life will follow in the Chapel at 1:30 p.m. Pastor Mark Sullivan of Belleville Wesleyan Church officiating.
