FOSHAY, Dorothy Marlene – It is with heavy hearts and great sadness, the family of Dorothy Foshay announce her passing at the Trenton Memorial Hospital on Thursday, February 22nd, 2018. Formerly of River Valley/ Stirling, Dorothy was in her 81st year. Daughter of the late Morley and Minnie Richardson (nee Hannah). Beloved Wife and best friend to the late Howard “Sonny” Foshay. Loving Mother to Marlene Boomhower (Allan) of Tweed, Morton Foshay (Shirley) of Gilmour, Cindy Foshay (Bob), Yvonne Hoard (Ron), and Connie Reid (Scott) all of Stirling. Devoted Nana to Matthew, Sonny, Cody (Rachel), Danielle (Nick), and Samantha. Great-Grandma to Madelyn, Jessabelle and Wesley. Fondly remembered by her best friend Margaret (Gary) Genereaux. Friends are invited to the Stirling Funeral Chapel, 87 James St. (613)-395-2424. On Monday, March 5th from 2-4 & 7-9p.m. Funeral Service will be held at St. Paul's United Church, 104 Church St., Stirling on Tuesday, March 6th, 2018 at 11:00a.m. Rev. Rodney Smith officiating. Interment will take place in the spring at Stirling Cemetery, where Dorothy will be buried beside her husband. If desired, donations to The Children's Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family as anyone who knew Dorothy, knew children were near and dear to her heart.
