Rushnell Family Services

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Eva Daicar can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolences

Condolence From: Francine Dumont
Condolence: Dear Henry,
I have been worried by Eva,s health since our last conversation in early January. I meant to call her today and before décided to look into Internet. I found my answer.
I am deeply moved by her departure; she delivered a very long battle and I am sure was sure to win it... especially after 18 years. I last saw her in Grenoble in October 2012 if I remember well and she was so full of life and projects. Needless to say that it feels strange that being a breast cancer myself (19 years ago), I am surviving. Life is so full of secrets.
I met Eva in London in 1968 ( 50 years ago) and we had kept contact for all these years. I will miss her even though we were not seeing each other very often. I would have loved to say farewell to her in a warmer way. I even thought of going to see her this past winter. But my health condition did not allow me to do so and I feel very upset.
Henry, do accept my late and sincere condolences. I know that Eva and you shared a lot together. It is very unfortunate that life had different plans especially that you are now retired.
I keep very good memories of Eva and you and hope that the future will provide you with a calmer road.

Please do convey my condolences to her family.

With warmest regards,

Francine
