Obituary for Claudia Pearl Wilson (Farnham)

WILSON, CLAUDIA PEARL (FARNHAM) -
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a wonderful Mother, and Grandmother, Claudia Wilson. After a battle with Alzheimer’s, Mom passed away on Friday, March 16, 2018, at our home in Moira. She was in her 93rd year. Mom lived the majority of her life in Cannifton. She was one of three beloved daughters of the late Harry and Olive (Honeywell) Farnham. She is survived by her daughter Michelle (Jack) Ryder, granddaughter Meghann (Jeff) Ryder, and grandson Sam (Shauna) Ryder. She is also survived by her younger sister, Marjorie (Bill) McMurter, 11 nieces and nephews, and many great & great-great nieces and nephews. Mom recently lost her older sister, Ruth Denike, and many years prior, Ruth’s husband, Harold.
We would like to applaud all of the people involved in Mom’s in-home care: Dr. Allin and Lisa; Bonnie, a very close family friend of many years; from Care Partners: Hope, Tina, Tina, Megan, Alyssa; from Bayshore: Tammy; from VON: Jen; from Paramed Nursing: Kelly and Danielle; from LIHN: Amy. We would also like to thank extended family and friends for all of their support.
In keeping with Mom’s wishes, there will be no funeral, only a private graveside service. Arrangements entrusted to the John R. Bush Funeral Home, 80 Highland Avenue, Belleville (613-968-5588). If desired, donations may be made to: Canadian Mental Health Association, Alzheimer’s Society, Fixed Fur Life, or Sandy Pines Wildlife Centre. Online condolences at: www.rushnellfamilyservices.com
