GARDNER, William Richard 　passed away at the Trenton Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, March 21, 2018, age 102 years. William “Bill” Gardner, son of the late William Gardner and the late Lucy (Payne). Beloved husband of the late Vera May (Mansfield) and the late Stephanie (Stobie). Loving father of Jean and her husband Robert Hoult of Carrying Place and Michael Gardner and his wife Betty of Edmonton, Alberta. Sadly missed by his grandchildren, Tracy, Alister, and his great grandchildren, Devon and Abby. Predeceased by his granddaughter Julie, his grandson Jason, his sisters Margery and Violet, and his brother Jack. The family will receive friends at the Brighton Funeral Home, 130 Main Street, Brighton, on Monday, April 9, 2018 from 1:30 to 3 p.m. for a Celebration of Bill’s Life. Cremation. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of the Trenton Memorial Hospital.
