OLIPHANT, Douglas, Ronald – Of Belleville, it is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of Douglas Oliphant at the Belleville General Hospital on Thursday, April 5th, 2018 in his 85th year. Beloved Spouse to Margaret Haskin. Predeceased by his late wife Kathleen Brummel. Loving father of Kathy Bennett and predeceased by son Douglas “Rick” Oliphant. Brother to William Oliphant and predeceased by sister Betty Oliphant. Douglas was dearly loved by his grandchildren Dale, Tyler, and Tammy. Step-Grandfather to Steve, Mark, David, Robert, and Doris. Friends may call at the JOHN R. BUSH FUNERAL HOME, 80 Highland Avenue., Belleville (613-968-5588) on Tuesday, April 10th, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, April 11th, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Dr. Hal Wilson officiating. If desired, donations to the Gleaners Foodbank or Quinte Humane Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
