Obituary for Catherine Marie Gagnier (O'Ray)

GAGNIER, Catherine (Cassie) nee O’Ray - with her sons by her side at the Viva Barrhaven Retirement Home in Ottawa on Sunday, April 8, 2018. Cassie Gagnier, formerly of Trenton, at the age of 89 was the beloved wife of the late Albert Gagnier and dearly loved mother of Dan and David. Grandmother to Matthew (Ray Farrier), Adam (Natalie Hiller), Christopher and Alyssa and great-grandmother of Mason. Pre-deceased by her sisters Rita Coughlin and Betty Hastings. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Rick Allen and the staff of Viva Barrhaven Retirement Home, Carefor and Champlain LHIN for their care and compassion. The family will receive friends at the RUSHNELL FUNERAL CENTRE, 60 Division Street, Trenton, Ontario on Thursday April 12th, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Trenton on Friday April 13th, 2018 at 11:00am. Fr. Francis Zambon officiating. Rite of Committal to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. If desired, Memorial Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
