Obituary for Douglas Gerald Maxwell

Passed away peacefully at the Belleville General Hospital, April 17, 2018 in his 94th year. He will be missed by his loving wife Phyllis, sisters Shirley Boyce and Barbara Whelan (John), and brother Ronald Maxwell. He played an important role in the lives of his many nieces and nephews, especially John Whelan who was like a son to him. Predeceased by his brothers Bob (Lorna), John and Glen. Gerry served in the Air Force in WWII. He continued his service working for the Federal Government in the Ministry of the Environment for 35 years. His most memorable were the early years in the Arctic. He always had a passion for the great outdoors. As per his wishes there will be no funeral service. Cremation has taken place.
