Condolence: Deepest heartfelt condolences to Terry and Vivian and all Pats family. She was a fun loving that I can describe as a character but that's what made her special, that sense of humour! She loved to have a good time! Jennifer, your lovely words to your Nana are very heartwarming, the time you got to spend with this lovely lady will forever be in your memory! Love to all

Condolence: My Nana Pat was genuinely one of the most wonderful people. She was a hard worker, raised 3 beautiful daughters, loved her family, and knew how to have a laugh.
We grew up with many, many visits to their home in Foxborough and their trailer in Madoc. Nana was usually cooking for us in the kitchen, being nosey and watching the neighbors out the window and filling us in on all the details, or out and about as she was fiercely independent.

Some memories that stand out for me are her sunny side up eggs at her kitchen table in Foxborough and ya grandkids eating up all our breakfast so she would praise us and tell us how good we were. She made the best sunny side up eggs.

I loved visiting her and Papa at the chip truck they owned. Nana’s sweet face smiling at us out the window when we arrived. She worked hard as I said and I remember her washing potatoes and working around the truck to ensure it was perfectly clean and ready for her customers.

When we’d visit her at the trailer she always had planned meals for us. My favourite was her signature cottage cheese and cucumber salad. So simple really but it always tasted better when she made it. Trust me, I tried. It was never the same.

She taught me how to make a chocolate skit cake as a surprise for Papa. I remember she was patient with me and let me get my hands dirty. And Papa loved it. As now I’m a mother I understand how she got just as much enjoyment watching me make it and serve it to Papa as we all did eating it.

I sing You Are My Sunshine to my daughter Lilly and I never have and never will sing or hear that song without thinking of Nana. Her and Autie Audrey harmonizing together was so pretty.

Wild nights at the trailer as I got older and was allowed to hang with the adults. My special appearance of Layla was famous for some time. And Nana was right along my side jamming it up with me.

She had me convinced when I was little that the car wouldn’t start unless our seatbelts were done up. For a long time I actually believed it!

She was a good Nana. We knew we were loved and we knew we were safe. I’m so thankful I was able to withness her meeting my daughter. I have a picture now of them together so I can tell Lilly when she’s older about her vibrant, funny, loving, hard working, full of life, Great Grandmother Pat.

I love you Nana. Be free of your pain and be in the arms of Papa once again.

Love Jennifer

Condolence: Hi I'm your Uncle Lorne's daughter. Your mother was a great lady. She always made a point of visiting us when she was in Timmins. We really enjoyed her laugh and pranks. She was such a joy to have around. It's not easy losing a mother, they are the glue to the family. Our prayer and thoughts are with the family. May she rest is in peace.
