Obituary for Robert Alexander LaMorre

LAMORRE, Robert Alexander – passed away peacefully at the Trenton Memorial Hospital on Friday, May 25th, 2018 after a brief illness. Born October 10th, 1927; he was in his 91st year. Loving husband and best friend of Jean (Woodward) LaMorre. Will be missed by daughter Patti (Paul) Potter of Trenton and Jeff (Rebeccah) LaMorre of Ottawa. Grandpa to Jack and Adam (LaMorre); Trent and Lahra (Daniel). Brother 'Bobbie' to Audrey (late Jack) Hazelton, Shirley (Paul) Bruyea and Sharon (John) Moore. Bob will be missed by several nieces, nephews, in-laws and many friends. His happiest years were coaching the Trenton Lions Midget and Juvenile teams. His next passion was golf. Jean and Bob vacationed many years in Myrtle Beach. He worked most of his life in accounting with Mirtren Construction. The family wishes to extend a sincere gratitude to Dr. Iris Noland and all the staff in the Emergency Room and Level II at Trenton Memorial Hospital who gave Bob exceptional care; showing compassion to him and his family. The same gratitude to the staff at Seasons Retirement Home where Bob and Jean have resided for the past eight years. They have become their extended family. Also special thanks to the staff at Metro Pharmacy for their patience and understanding. As per Bob's wishes Cremation has taken place. There will be a Private Family Celebration of Life at a later date. If desired, the family would appreciate donations to the Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation or the Victorian Order of Nurses.
