Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Dorothy Theresa Wood (English) can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

WOOD (ENGLISH), Dorothy Theresa - Entered into rest at Hospice Prince Edward with family by her side on Monday, June 4th, 2018 at the age of 89. Daughter of the late John and Mae MacPhee (nee Caswell). Beloved wife of the late Jim Wood and the late Edwin English. Loved mother of John (Patty) Wood of Kemptville, Darlene (Terry) Brennan of Demorestville and the late Paul Wood. Ever remembered grandmother of Amy, Colleen, Tiffany, Laura, and great-grandmother of Malina, Landon and Jaxson. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and her 'second daughter' Janice Huffman. Sister of predeceased siblings Jean, Helen, Mary, Janet, Joan, Bernice, Jack, Charles, Ernest and twin brother Donald. Dorothy was an amazingly strong, independent woman, a great life well lived. Resting at the RUSHNELL FUNERAL CENTRE, 60 Division Street, Trenton (613-392-2111) on Sunday, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be offered at Saint Peter's Roman Catholic Church, Trenton on Monday, June 11th, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Rite of Committal at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
