Condolence: Jordan -- I am recalling nights spent sitting on your curb, you with your beloved guitar, me with that borrowed mahogany heirloom. I remember the way your face lit up every time you showed me a new scale. You made learning guitar fun and accessible. I remember showing you yoga tricks in your living room, sharing tales of my former crooked-ness, and the way you internalised every micro movement I taught you. I am thinking of you proudly showing me your audio work, or your sporadic and joyful phone calls. I have been quietly praying for you -- and indeed, I will continue to keep you in my thoughts.
