Earl Joseph Gardner
GARDNER, Earl Joseph at his home in Brighton on Sunday, July 15, 2018, age 76 years. Earl Gardner, beloved husband of the late Mary Cabrini Hefferan. Predeceased by his brother Ralph Gardner. Brother-in-law of Rose Gardner of St. Catherine's, Carmel (Elwin) Warren of Chapel Arm, Geraldine (Kevin) Murphy of Oshawa, Leo (Margo) Hefferan and Michael Hefferan of Bellevue. Also predeceased by his Sister- in- law Barbara (Ray) Rouleau of Toronto. Cherished uncle and great uncle who will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Earl had a unique personality that instantly radiated to anybody he met. His “happy–go–lucky” personality yet quiet demeanor, his joy for life and his generous heart made him the special man he was. He was an avid reader and traveler. He loved to spend his mid-late summers in Newfoundland surrounded by family and friends. He always made life easier for those around him. He has touched so many people with his special ways and will be sadly missed by all. The family will receive friends at the Brighton Funeral Home, 130 Main Street, Brighton, on Thursday, July 19, 2018 from 12 o’clock noon. Memorial Service to follow in the funeral home at 1 o’clock. Cremation will take place. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, would be appreciated by the family. www.rushnellfamilyservices.com
