Obituary for Lorna Erwin Killens (Tripp)

KILLENS, Lorna Erwin (nee Tripp) – Formerly of Belleville, passed away on Monday, August 20th, 2018 at Warkworth Place Long Term Care Facility at the age of 93. Graduate with honours from the Nursing program, Oshawa General Hospital (1948). Daughter of the late Everett and Laura Tripp (nee Smith). Beloved wife of the late Ronald Killens. Survived by her daughter Catherine Belanger (Bernard), sons Robert (Patricia), David (Katrina), and Donald (Linda). Pre-deceased by brother Bruce Tripp (late Mary) and sister Helen Bryant (late Wes). Lorna will be fondly remembered by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at the BELLEVILLE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL – 68 N. Front St., (613-968-5080) on Friday, August 24th, 2018 from 11:00a.m. – 1:00p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel immediately following at 1:00p.m. Cremation to follow. Lorna was a two-term worthy matron of the Eastern Star. If desired, donations to the Belleville General Hospital, Oncology Dept. would be greatly appreciated by the family.
