Fred's most vivid memory was a Presqu'ile sailboat adventure where Jim jumped overboard to rescue his tiller and all Fred could think of was telling the family of newborn Claire about this tragedy at sea. But Jim went on to enjoy another 40 years including being a grandfather to Andrew.
