Rushnell Family Services

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Jean Austin can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolences

Condolence From: Dennis and Judy Crowe
Condolence: It is with heartfelt sadness we send this condolence for the loss of Jean. She and her husband Karl were lifelong friends of my parents, Jean and George (Toss) Graham. They made many memories together in Wooler, Weslemkoon and other places. My parents loved to dance to the Austin Band. Jean was my Piano teacher in Wooler at the Austin homestead. Her love of music was demonstrated to and instilled in her students. I had the privilege of visiting Jean in the role of Pastoral Care. We had some good chats. She gave her heart to the Lord and now is in Her Saviour’s arms. I know you will all miss her, but remember the reward promised to all who trust in Him and be comforted to know she is in heaven. May the Lord comfort you with this truth now and during the days ahead as you travel on without her here. She left quite a legacy and impact on all who knew her. Sincerely, Dennis & Judy
