Our daughter Sara died in a bicycle accident on Sunday September 23rd, 2018. The driver involved was not at fault.
Gord and Kristin are working their way through this now, but it is going to be quite a struggle for both of them.
Sara, unwavering worked towards her dream of becoming a professional ballerina, but also reflected that she needed to check back on the stewards of our environment to ensure that the animals were safe within our world.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Quinte Ballet School of Canada (QBSC) where Sara was enrolled in her pre-professional training, to the National Ballet of Canada (NBC) where she loved to attend enrichment classes, or to the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) would be most appreciated.
Visitation will be held on Friday September 28th, 2018 from 2:00 p.m – 4:00 p.m at John R Bush Funeral Home, 80 Highland Ave. (613) 968-5588 followed by a funeral service held in the chapel at 5:00 p.m.
Someone far better versed that I wrote "All the world is a stage..."; Sara wanted to dance ballet on that stage. All the time you love dance, to perform or to watch, we'll feel that a little bit of Sara dances on.
