Condolence From: Diana Quickert
Condolence: I would like to offer sincere condolences on behalf of the Quickert family. I was always so proud to show my friends the framed newspaper clippings in the Blueroom as my Oma and Opa were in them (Arthur and Elizabeth), in fact my Opa has his arm around Jimmy. As fellow hard working immigrants and business men I know they always had the utmost respect for Jimmy. I also have fond memories dining at the Skyline with my maternal grandmother, Eula Tovell, whose Skyline keychain now hangs on my key ring. Jimmy’s legacy will always live on in Trenton ❤️

Condolence From: Nina Antonakes
Condolence: I have wonderful memories of Jimmy and the Skyline from the time I was a young child. My dad would go to the Skyline daily for coffee with Jimmy and it was a treat when my sister and I would go for milkshakes and pie. Between family events and New Year’s Eve parties we’ve probably celebrated at least 30 events in the Fiesta Lounge. Wonderful memories....wonderful man. You will be missed Jimmy.

Condolence: Ann and family members, Sorry to hear of Jimmy passing, our sincere condolence, Jimmy will be missed by his family, peers and so many clients that he served over the years. Always had a smile and a friendly greeting for those he met. First met Jimmy and Ann when I moved to Trenton from the Island of Nfld and worked for Jimmy in 1960-1962, and never miss when we travel back to Ontario to drop in for a hello and a delicious meal.
