McGregor, Lois - 73 of Massey, Ontario passed away on November 10, 2018 at her home in Trenton, Ontario. Born August 12, 1945 in Espanola Ontario, she was the dear daughter of the late Verner and Byrna (nee Olmstead) Steinke. She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond “Thomas” McGregor (2003). Loving mother of Tammy McGregor-Twiss (Michael) of Potsdam New York, Heather Mailloux (Jacques), Tina Duhaime (Sean) of Massey and Shane McGregor of Summerland BC. She will be sadly missed by Grandchildren Ashley, Kayla, Madeline, Mary, Avery, Cody, and Lindsey and Great Grandchildren Gracie and Max. Very dear sister of Karen Ayton (George), Ron Steinke (Judy), late Terry Steinke (Isobel), Doug Steinke, late Jeanne Moffatt (Mike), Sheila Diguer (Richard), and Wade Steinke (Diana). Beloved sister-in-law of Catherine Bellmore (late Theodore), William McGregor (Ruth), late Stewart McGregor (Anja), Roy McGregor (Lorraine), Carol Ann McGregor, and Peter McGregor (Debbie). She will be missed by many nieces and nephews and cousins. Lois loved her family time around campfires, card games and holidays. We all know her as an avid fan of Bingo, Canasta and as of late the Toronto Blue Jays. She enjoyed traveling and for many years she spent her winter months enjoying the warm Florida weather. Lois spent many years as housekeeper and support worker at the Espanola General Hospital before retiring to Trenton, Ontario. Please join the family for a Celebration of Life service on Thursday November 15th, 2018 at the Walford Community Hall, Walford, Ontario at 11:00 am, followed by lunch and burial service at the River Road Cemetery in Massey Ontario. Cremation arrangements entrusted to the RUSHNELL FUNERAL CENTRE, 60 Division St., Trenton (613-392-2111).
