February 28, 1926 - November 24, 2020 Born and raised in the UK, Angela (nee Nairne) was proud of her Scottish heritage. She moved to Canada in the early 1950's with her beloved husband John Grigor (1922-2009). In addition to being a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Angela was also an accomplished teacher, academic and writer. After raising a family, she returned to University, attained her PhD in Art Education, and published her award-winning book Arthur Lismer, Visionary Art Educator. Angela's memory will always be cherished for her patient, gracious and loving nature, and her joyful sense of humour.
At the Hallowell House Nursing Home on Tuesday November 24, 2020, Angela Geddes Mary Grigor passed away at the age of 94. Beloved wife of the late John Grigor, much loved mother of Rod (Tina) of Toronto, Angus (Cindy) of Picton and Neil (Mary Ellen) of Perth, 'Nan' of Jessica (Craig), Max (Chelsea), Wyatt (Jacqui), Emma, Rori and Kate and great grandmother of Samuel.
Family interment at Cherry Valley Cemetery with the Reverend Audrey Whitney to officiate.
