We were so sorry to hear of Helen's passing. We send our deepest sympathies to Merv and families. Jim and I both worked with Merv for many years, we were able to spend a little time with Helen as well on occasion, enough to know she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Cherish the memories.

Offering our most sincere condolences to the Shannik family. Helen was such a lovely lady and will be sorely missed by all. Please know that she is no longer in pain and will always be with you in your hearts and your memories as they will live on forever. Prior to my Mom passing she told me that she was never going to die and she was right. She may no longer be with us on this earth but not a day goes by that I don’t think of her and I’m sure that is what you will do with Helen. I am sure she is flying high above, watching over you and keeping you all safe. Rest In Peace brave lady. The Stork Family

Our sincere condolences to the family--Helen was a friend to most of us growing up, and a great neighbor on Salem Road. She always had a beautiful smile for everyone, and was a genuine human being. The Batchelor Family
