Brenda, Muriel, Addy, Stacey and family, a profound sense of loss has washed over the Murray Centennial community, both past and present, upon hearing this very sad news of Ivan's untimely passing. He was a tremendous volunteer through the years, so generous with his time and efforts with the Breakfast Club and other events. He literally toasted tens of thousands of pieces of bread and bagels, serving up thousands of hungry (and healthier) school children of all ages throughout the years. He chopped veggies and prepared fruit, he did whatever was needed to keep the program running. Our volunteers young and old, heard Ivan's various tales of the speedway, maple sap collecting in the woods, his Rona stories of yesteryear, and last but most certainly not least, his fierce pride and love for his beloved wife Brenda, daughters Muriel and Stacey and his loving grandchildren. Ivan was an amazing example of the type of person that we all strive to be, and it was an honour knowing him. Our world was better with Ivan in it, and he will be sorely missed. Much love, from Tammy Kirby, Tara Legrow and the Murray Breakfast Club gang

Brenda, Stacey and Muriel, I hope you find comfort in all the wonderful memories you will always have. I have always had such fondness for your father and have so many great memories of growing up and spending time at your house. Thinking of you.
