I met John for the first time in Petawawa in 1980, It was instant friendship at it best. From there on we had multitude of friendly small Arms competitions in Petawawa, Borden and Frankford. Many gun shows in the USA and some of the best Fire Power demos in Gagetown. It is somewhat difficult to describe this energetic friend. He was a rare breed who came upon the scene every once in a while. John was extremely competent in the small arms field and was always available to anyone in need of help with gun issues. As a long time member of SRSA, he was held in high esteem by all. John had won the confidence of all SRSA members and have always had the best interests of the Club. He was a first class father and a first class friend.
"THIS GENTLEMAN CAME TO LATE IN MY LIFE AND LEFT TO EARLY"
RIP dear friend. Securitas
