So sorry to read about your mother’s passing . It is hard enough at any time to lose your mother but how difficult it must be now when you can’t get together to comfort each other. Scott it was through you, your mother and I met. I babysat you while your mother taught vacation Bible school. How traumatic it must have been for you to come to a strangers home who had three little girls no less. From that your mom and I developed a lasting friendship. Your mom sang Near to the heart of God at my mom’s funeral. She was blessed with the gift of a beautiful voice which she shared with many. She also had a gift of writing poetry which she shared in a book. From our friendship Dale and John met as they both shared a great love for the Belleville Bulls. Your mom was a great person of prayer and I know she spent many hours praying for our family, her family and many others. Now our prayers are for all of her family. We pray that God may comfort and strengthen all her family and help you Remember the many good times you had together like her 90th birthday party which meant so much to her and was such a surprise. Love, prayers and sympathy Dale and Barb Geen.
