Peacefully entered into rest at the Carrington Retirement Residence, Trenton on Monday evening December 10th, 2012 in his 108th year. Dear son of the late Henry & Electa Swan. Loving husband of the late Keitha Swan (nee-Hall) and the late Marion Larkin. Cherished father of Wilma Huffman (Carman) of Corbyville, Ralph Swan (Shirley) of Belleville, Erma Martin (Duane) of Kingston, Wanda Clare (Ivan) of Stirling, Muriel McGee (late Milton) of Ottawa, Audrey Bulmer (Gordon) of Oshawa, Blanche Swan (Gary Boyles) of Toronto and Bruce Swan (late Gloria) of Armstrong, B.C. Predeceased by his daughters; Beryl Colby and Mona Ray (late Jim). Dear step-father of Catherine Clarke (Ted) of Belleville, Colleen Gorman (Eric) of Nepean and Jean Tomaso of Arnprior. Will be remembered by his son-in-law Vernon Colby of Toronto. Also lovingly remembered by his 33 grandchildren, 53 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren. Friends are invited to call at the Belleville Funeral Home and Chapel, 68 North Front Street, Belleville (613-968-5080) on Saturday December 15th from 1:30p.m.-4p.m. & 7-9p.m. Funeral Service will be held at St. Thomas Anglican Church (201 Church Street, Belleville on Sunday December 16th, 2012 at 2:00p.m. (with visitation at the church one hour prior). Rev'd Fr. Brad Beale to officiate. Spring Interment Riverview Cemetery in Shannonville. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
