Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Florence McFarlane can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Mom passed away in her sleep in the early hours of June 17th 2015 at the age of 84yrs. Devoted wife of the late Ron McFarlane (March 2012) for 63 yrs. and loving mother of Lynn Tomasich & her husband Joe of Kingston.
Predeceased by her parents Frieda and Willy Bell, her elder sister Marjorie Ptolemy (Jan. 2015) & brother –in-law Doug (May 2013) of Belleville younger sister Barbara McAllister (July 2003) & brother-in-law George (Apr. 2004) of Ameliasburg.
Fondly remembered by her nieces &nephews, great nieces & nephews and a great great nephew.
Mom retired from Bell Canada in 1987 with 37 yrs. Service, in retirement mom was an active volunteer at Hastings Manor & St Matthews United Church as well she kept busy bowling, traveling, gardening & playing euchre.
I wish to sincerely thank all the caregivers at Briargate Retirement Home in Amherstview & Rideaucrest Home in Kingston for their care and compassion for Mom.
The family will receive friends at the JOHN R. BUSH FUNERAL HOME, 80 Highland Ave on Thursday July 16 from 7 to 9pm. The funeral service will be held on Friday July 17 at 11:00am at St Matthews United Church, 25 Holloway St.
If you wish donations may be made to St. Matthews United Church or Hastings Manor would be appreciated by the family.

McFARLANE, Florence Rosamond (nee Bell)-
Mom passed away in her sleep in the early hours of Wednesday June 17th, 2015 in her 85th year. After a three year struggle with dementia she is finally at peace. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation & Services will follow in July with an announcement prior. Arrangements entrusted to JOHN R. BUSH FUNERAL HOME, 80 Highland Ave. Belleville (613-968-5588).
